The 3 days – mountain gorilla trekking safaris will take you to Bwindi national park which is located in the south western Uganda stretching to the south of Queen Elizabeth national park and democratic republic of Congo. The park is a tropical rain forest which covers the rolling hills of kabala, kanungu, Rubanda and kisoro districts. Bwindi harbors around 450 gorillas which is half of the total mountain gorillas in the world.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi

You will be met and picked up by our company driver who will drive you south words to Bwindi impenetrable national park

Crossing the equator, you will have a stopover, take photos, and videos, have an equator experiment and later proceed to the southern hemisphere, through ankole kingdom that will allow you see ankole long horned cows and the zebras that wonder from lake Mburo national park to peoples ranches and near the roadsides. Have lunch in Mbarara and later proceed to the rolling hills of kigezi region. In these hills, you will be able to experience the magnificent scenery and the attractive terraces that covers the hills.

Upon reaching our destination, you will be covered with the impenetrable forest which will give you a hint of indeed what you going to experience the next day

Day 2: Gorilla trekking

 Start our beautiful day by heading to the park headquarters for registration, briefing and getting full information about the park and gorilla tracking. The information refers to when was the park Gazatted, the area coverage, what other animals to be expected, and also the type of gorilla family you are going to track. Enter deep inside the forest in search of the giants of the forests/ gorillas that gives you a guarantee of seeing them.  Tracking will take around half a day to full day depending on the gorilla movement. As you are following then, finally before meeting them, the guide will tell to stop and have your packed lunches because these animals might be curious to see or know what you might be taking or eating that is different to theirs. Later meet them , take photos, videos as you experience how they are performing their social life of grooming, playing and general social life/behaviors. The total time is one hour stay with these animals as we need to leave them stay and enjoy there wild life while in their natural habitat/ forest. After you come out from the forests and you have a debriefing, have your certificates of completion/graduate to certify that you really tracked the giants apes of the world.


Day 3: Depart back at our hotel or airport
