kigezi is found in south western Uganda. The scenic beauty of the region results the country to really be known as the pearl of Africa, the rolling hills and mountains leaves the world to name this area the ‘Switzerland of Africa’. The temperatures are cool in relation to the altitude as the highest point is around 1800m to 2200m above sea level. The hills are mostly covered with terraces that help to mitigate or reduce the speed of running water and also covered with trees that help in binding to soils together. 

The local people here are mainly the bakiga, as the main tribe bahororo and banyarwanda. Make the smallest tribe but all good welcoming and hospitable people.

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

 Early morning after breakfast, drive to south western Uganda with our bikes on our vehicles, have lunch in Mbarara upon reaching kigezi boundary, and start our riding to the hills for two hours until we reach Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 2: Cycling in Kabale and transfer to bwindi.

Start our day through riding and exploring the hills of kabala up to Rwanda boarder, through the dirt roads, valleys and communities. We shall later on transfer to Bwindi national park.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking.

This day 3 of the cyclying tour will start by briefing at the park headquarters about the mountain gorillas. You will be joined by other tourists and led by a ranger who will guide you to where the gorillas are.

Day 4: Transfer back to Entebbe/ Kampala.

Ride back through kanungu, rukungiri, up to ntungamo were we shall get back in our vehicles drive back to Kampala/ Entebbe.
